As a Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in growing Balance’s presence in the e-commerce space by managing high-impact partnerships that extend our product's reach and influence. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and launch new types of partnerships and integrations, ensuring that Balance’s product suite is effectively deployed and optimized. This role requires end-to-end ownership of partnership strategy and execution, with accountability for both internal alignment and external deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Enable, expand, and further grow an existing set of strategic partners across different verticals (eg Payments, ERPs).
  • Conduct market research and develop strategies to find and manage select new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales and marketing to define integration requirements and timelines.
  • Work closely with external E-commerce platform partners to understand their APIs, capabilities, and integration processes. This includes staying abreast of key product changes and how they may impact our product experience.
  • Project Lead the implementation of Balance across E-commerce platforms, ensuring a smooth user experience and functionality.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of our different customers, their systems, and how they want to use our product.
  • Establish and communicate objectives and reporting for each partner relationship to relevant stakeholders, externally and internally.
  • Own objectives for sourced and influenced revenue, partner success, and customer retention.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of business development experience, preferably from e-com or the Fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce ecosystems, APIs, and integration methodologies and the ability to communicate with technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new strategic partnerships and product integrations.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent.
