Description
As Product Marketing Manager at Balance, you will work closely with our Director of Product Marketing, and cross-functional teams to execute and operationalize Balance’s product marketing strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning strategy into action, owning day-to-day product marketing operations, supporting launches, creating high-quality content, and keeping our go-to-market assets up to date and aligned.
You will play a key role in shaping how our products are told to the market- translating complex capabilities into clear, compelling stories that showcase their value, benefits, and real-world impact across sales, and partner, demand generation and PR channels.
Responsibilities
Turn Product Storytelling into Demand
- Translate real product capabilities into clear, credible narratives for finance leaders and operators
- Serve as the source of truth for external product communication with media, analysts, and partners
- Partner with PR to develop product-led storylines that build credibility and market authority
- Collaborate with Demand Gen and Content to plan and produce high-impact campaign assets (copy, landing pages, videos, thought leadership)
- Create hands on product related content for the website, blog, and social channels
- Own and continuously update website product pages to reflect new features and innovations
Competitive & Market Intelligence:
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and produce internal competitive summaries and battlecards
Product Launches:
- Support activities across various launches including product launches and new partnerships
Requirements
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and critical thinking capabilities
- Previous startup experience, ideally in high-growth B2B or fintech environments
- Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset. able to identify gaps, set direction, and execute without heavy oversight.
- Native English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to translate product capabilities into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders (CFOs, AR leaders, operators).
- Able to work with Product, Sales, Demand Gen and PR teams to align messaging with GTM strategy
