Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineering QA to lead the Quality Assurance process for our cutting-edge manhole LiDAR scanning and analysis operations. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data collected from LiDAR scans, as well as oversee the analysis process to maintain the highest quality standards. Your work will be critical in enhancing the efficiency and quality of our manhole data flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end quality assurance process for manhole LiDAR scanning and data analysis.
- Verify the accuracy and precision of manhole data collection and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or inaccuracies in scan data, ensuring reliable outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field operations, data analysts, and software developers, to optimize workflows and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on the best practices and emerging technologies in manhole LiDAR and quality assurance.
- Provide engineering technical support and training to team members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software and technological tools used in the map data processing (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
