Finout is looking for a Senior Controller to join our fast-paced company. We are in growth mode and looking for people who can learn and adjust quickly, think strategically, and develop with the company! As our Senior Controller you will report directly to the VP Finance and be part of the Finout’s Finance operation. The Position is located in Israel.

This is a unique opportunity to join a quickly accelerating startup in a hot space and make an outsized impact to the trajectory of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s monthly, quarterly and annual close process, including preparing required financial statements and tax filings
  • Manage ongoing bookkeeping and payroll practices, whether in-house or outsourced
  • Be a primary owner for the upcoming ERP (Netsuite) migration project
  • Develop and implement efficient financial processes to optimize the team's activities. Serve as the company’s focal point for AR/AP and define its practices
  • Conduct financial analysis and periodical management reporting packages utilizing both CRM and ERP data
  • Define, implement and ongoingly monitor accounting practices
  • Liaison with the company’s external auditors & accountants on various accounting, auditing, tax and statutory requirements

Requirements

  • CPA from one of the Big 4 accounting firms, experience with high-tech companies
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years as a controller or assistant controller in a global high-tech organization in growth stage
  • Ability to work independently, proactive, fast learner, and self-motivated
  • Excellent command of Excel, Office and Google Sheets
  • Experience building financial processes including AR, AP, payroll management, expense reimbursements etc.
  • Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Hebrew
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global company, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience defining charts of accounts and navigating Netsuite
  • Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
