As we continue to scale rapidly, we’re looking for a Commercial Sales Manager/Director to lead and inspire our expanding team of Commercial Account Executives. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth startup in a dynamic and evolving market, making a significant impact on the company's success. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by optimizing the full sales cycle, coaching your team to success, and collaborating across departments to refine our go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven sales leader with a passion for mentoring sales talent, enhancing processes, and building strong relationships with customers and prospects. You’ll play a key role in shaping Finout's sales operations, ensuring pipeline health, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Travel up to 25% is expected to engage with clients and participate in industry events.
We offer a competitive salary with an expected total compensation range of $250,000 - $300,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives, driving performance to exceed revenue targets.
- Own and optimize the full sales cycle, ensuring best practices are implemented across prospecting, relationship building, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to align on go-to-market strategies and enhance customer experience.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to AEs to improve sales skills and performance.
- Establish and monitor key sales metrics, including pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and deal velocity.
- Work closely with leadership to refine sales processes and scale operations efficiently.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Finout's solution and market positioning to effectively communicate value propositions to customers and prospects.
- Participate in strategic customer meetings, contract negotiations, and executive-level discussions to support AEs in closing complex deals.
- Travel up to 25% of the time for on-site customer meetings and industry events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 2 years in a sales leadership role managing quota-carrying AEs.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment.
- Experience negotiating and closing five and six-figure contracts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Expertise in outbound prospecting strategies and building scalable sales processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with executive presence and the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on sales KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality.
- Familiarity with cloud cost management solutions or related SaaS industries is a plus.
- BA/BS degree preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Based in NYC (our office located in midtown Manhattan).
