About The Role

This is a full-time hybrid role (4 days at the office, 1 day remote) for a senior backend software developer located in Tel Aviv District, Israel.

As a lead, you will be the go-to person for certain features and aspects of the system.

Job involves working closely with stakeholders in the company (Product, data ops and project managers), representing the development team’s point of view.

Additionally, a senior is expected to routinely initiate improvements to the maintainability of the code and the efficiency of the development cycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in software development of a mission-critical system
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 2 years experience with a cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Former implementation and maintenance of a distributed, event driven architecture
• Work experience with Git
• Strong command of technical English, both in oral and writing

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience with a variety of organization types (Start-up, corporate, government, etc.)
• A taste for infrastructure/DevOps tasks
