We're seeking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing team, reporting directly to the VP Of Product.
As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and evolution of our next-generation observability solution.
You will do:
- Collaborate closely with the VP Of Product and cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for groundcover's next-generation observability solution.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify key trends, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on customer feedback, market insights, and business objectives.
- Actively engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and development teams to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Work closely with the engineering team to guide the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and functionality.
- Collaborate with product designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences that meet the needs of our target audience.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Kubernetes-based application architectures, DevOps practices, and observability technologies to effectively communicate the value proposition of Groundcover's solution.
- Work to improve customer conversion and engagement in PLG funnel
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics, conduct data analysis, and use insights to inform product enhancements and optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to observability, cloud-native applications, and DevOps.
You will need:
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager.
- Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes, cloud-native architectures, and observability technologies (e.g., monitoring, logging, tracing, metrics, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data to make informed product decisions.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products, preferably in the SaaS or enterprise software space.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Self-driven and highly motivated with a passion for technology, innovation, and solving customer challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration technologies.
- Previous experience in observability, APM (Application Performance Monitoring), or logging and monitoring space.
- Knows SQL so can self-serve data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and related services.
