We are looking for an exceptional marketer who deeply understands and loves developer solutions to help drive awareness and engagement to support the rapid growth of groundcover.

What You’ll Do

Work with the VP Marketing and the rest of the talented marketing team to ideate, execute, perfect, and grow the three C’s - Conferences, Community, and Content of the dev-facing organization.

You will lead and execute all owned and earned channels hands-on from all social media channels, to events, podcasts, communities & forums, sponsorships and influencer relations. You will be in charge of setting up clear processes and assets for all of the aforementioned to promote brand awareness and drive brand desirability. Your success will be measured in the growth of our communities, level of awareness, and our ability to continuously recreate success on all of these platforms on the fly through an agile and creative environment do-er strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related role, with experience in a B2D company - a must (ideally in the observability space).
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in a technical industry.
  • Experience working in social media, influencer marketing, communications, media, or related digital media fields.
  • Early adopter of developer trends with a passion for communicating technology both verbally and in writing.
  • Successful podcast and webinar experience - a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, fearless attitude with cost-effective time management and ROI in mind - always have the next creative concept in mind, ready for execution.
