We are on the hunt for a Media Planner to oversee the sales planning process at Overwolf and assist the Brand Partnerships sales team with all pre-sales activities related to RFPs and post-sale tasks concerning campaign delivery.

As a Media Planner, your responsibilities will include working in close collaboration with our Brand Partnerships sales team to assist in developing exceptional media plans for clients. Upon approval of these plans, you will coordinate with the account management and ad operations teams to facilitate campaign setup, launch, and progress reporting. The ideal candidate will possess substantial digital media expertise, analytical prowess, attention to detail, and a passion for the video game industry.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Design, manage, and refine media planning tools and products to guarantee precision and efficiency throughout the planning process.
  • Oversee all pre-sales activities related to RFP responses, including strategy development, tactical recommendations, Excel plan completion, collaboration with creative strategists, assistance in proposal slide creation, and plan formulation for implementing recommended tactics.
  • Leverage data and research to guide media planning decisions and formulate recommendations.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including marketing, ad operations, and product development, to commoditize significant Overwolf products and innovate new offerings based on client demands.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, compile reports, and ensure adherence to key performance indicators.
  • Perform dark rituals under the full moon, negotiating with malevolent ancient beings to ensure campaign success.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales planning, media planning, or sales enablement.
  • Prior role in a media agency focusing on planning strategy is essential.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising will be considered an asset.
  • A passion for the gaming industry will be viewed favorably.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A meticulous, highly organized, and process-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in English and working flexibly across various time zones (collaboration with team members in the USA and Israel is required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the Google Suite, is necessary.
  • At least basic understanding of Blood Magic, sacrificial experience a plus.
