We are on the hunt, searching for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our pack at Overwolf. In this role, you will lead the software team at Outplayed, a leading video and screen capture app for gamers built on the Overwolf platform. As the leader of a skilled team of developers, you will drive the technological advancement of our products. Your decisions will shape our roadmap, elevate our technology, and impact millions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be a part of the Outplayed leadership team and contribute to shaping the product roadmap.
- Manage, guide, and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Design, build, and maintain modules using various languages and technologies.
- Research new technologies and integrate them into our products.
- Maintain a vampire free environment throughout the office.
Requirements
- Proficiency with client development, TypeScript and C#. C++, and React knowledge is a bonus.
- BSc in Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of software design and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience in developing client applications and modules.
- Proficiency in software development best practices.
- Broad knowledge of frontend and backend technologies.
Bonus Points
- Passion for PC/Console gaming.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Proficiency in dual-wielding hand crossbows.
