The Role

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager with a corporate legal background to join our customer-facing team and help companies navigate the legal and operational complexities of global equity management.

You’ll work directly with general counsels, founders, and legal teams - guiding them through equity plans, corporate governance workflows, and document-heavy compliance processes.

You’ll translate legal foundations into practical workflows inside Slice and collaborate with Product and R&D to influence the next generation of compliance and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer onboarding, training, and long-term relationship management.
  • Translate complex legal and financial concepts into clear, actionable guidance inside the Slice platform.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase product adoption, improve workflows, and surface customer insights to the product team.
  • Partner closely with Product, R&D, and Design to improve legal workflows, automation, and document understanding.
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers navigating both routine and advanced legal/compliance scenarios.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to ensure successful adoption and retention.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • LLB/JD
  • 2+ years as a corporate lawyer, legal associate, or counsel.
  • Experience advising founders, legal teams, or VC-backed companies.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ability to multitask and manage several matters simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable using modern software tools and adapting quickly to a high-tech, product-driven environment.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with experience working directly with clients and delivering a positive, professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with equity platforms or cap table systems.
  • Exposure to global entities and multi-jurisdiction equity plans.
  • Background in startup law, venture financing, or equity compensation structures.
