The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build and lead Slice’s early-stage marketing function.
This is a player-coach role for someone who is extremely hands-on, hungry, and versatile—someone with a proven record of successful demand generation who is excited to build the first full-stack marketing team in a post-Series A company.
You’ll own marketing end-to-end: strategy, execution, hiring, and results—working closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to define Slice’s go-to-market motion and scale demand.

The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build and lead Slice’s early-stage marketing function.
This is a player-coach role for someone who is extremely hands-on, hungry, and versatile—someone with a proven record of successful demand generation who is excited to build the first full-stack marketing team in a post-Series A company.
You’ll own marketing end-to-end: strategy, execution, hiring, and results—working closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to define Slice’s go-to-market motion and scale demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Slice’s end-to-end marketing strategy in a post-Series A environment.
- Build and lead the first full-stack marketing team.
- Drive demand generation for mid-market startups (200–2,000 employees), supporting an inside-sales motion for high-value, contract-driven SaaS products.
- Partner closely with Sales to define ICPs, messaging, pipeline targets, and conversion metrics.
- Develop and execute scalable growth motions across content, paid, lifecycle, partnerships, and brand.
- Be deeply hands-on across channels while building repeatable systems and processes.
- Establish clear KPIs and rigorously own performance against pipeline and revenue goals.
- Proven demand generation experience with measurable success.
- Experience building and leading the first marketing function at an early-stage company.
- Background in a successful $5–10M ARR startup environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market motions, especially in complex or technical products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous, and resource-constrained environment.
- Highly energetic, proactive, and execution-driven mindset.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Leadership.
- Experience marketing to the CFO office or finance/legal buyers.
- Background in fintech, financial tools, or compliance-driven SaaS.
- Familiarity with startup equity, finance, or operational tooling.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams.
- Build from zero: Define and build Slice’s marketing engine from the ground up.
