Description
We are looking for a talented Data Operations student to join our Data team!
In this role, you will play a vital role in monitoring system performance and ensuring smooth operations. You will be responsible for flagging and solving incidents, prioritizing issues, and collaborating with R&D, Delivery, and Customer Partner teams
The role includes, 2-3 shifts a week, including nights shifts & weekends.

Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and operations to ensure they meet performance and availability standards.
- Flag and solve urgent incidents, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Prioritize incidents based on urgency and impact, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with R&D, Delivery, and Customer Partner teams to address operational issues and improve processes.
- Implement monitoring-related processes, such as on-Call playbooks and reports, to ensure consistency of service level and ensure SLAs are met.
- Prepare and provide regular status updates and reports on system performance and incident management.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a technical Bachelor’s degree (2nd/3rd year) in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with approximately 3 semesters remaining.
- Availability for 2–3 shifts per week, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in SQL; ability to write complex queries is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly in urgent situations.
- High proficiency in English — both spoken and written.
- Experience with any of the following is advantage: Python scripting and Git, Logs and Monitoring systems - such as Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, etc. Incident Management tools - such as PagerDuty, OpsGenie, etc.
